Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Quantara, we collect:

• Account information: email address, name, password (stored as a hash, never in plain text).
• Intake information: training goals, experience level, sessions per week, height, weight, injury history, body composition goals, activity level, and any free-form notes you provide.
• Training data: workout logs, set logs (weight, reps, completion status), exercise substitutions, skipped sets and sessions.
• Body data: weigh-ins you log over time.
• Usage data: timestamps of logged sessions, login activity, basic device type information.

We do not collect: payment information (Quantara is free during the v1 release period), location data, contact lists, photos, biometric identifiers, or third-party social media data.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Generate training programs (via Anthropic's Claude models) that your Coach reviews and approves before delivery.
• Render your Progress, Train, and Plan views.
• Allow your Coach to review your training history, weigh-ins, and adherence.
• Authenticate you when you sign in.
• Communicate with you about your account (password resets, important service notices).

Your information is used only for coaching purposes. It is not used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared with anyone outside the coaching relationship except as required by law.

3. Data Storage and Processors

Quantara uses Supabase (a third-party platform) to store and process your data. Supabase acts as our data processor and is contractually bound to protect your information. Anthropic processes your training history when generating program drafts via the Claude API; Anthropic does not retain or train on your data under our API terms.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and training data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your training history in a portable format.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level security in our database, and access controls limiting Coach access to their own Clients only. No system is perfectly secure; you use Quantara at your own risk.

7. Children

Quantara is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active Clients via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Quantara after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
